We’re always looking for ways to improve, and after hearing feedback from our community, we knew we could make our Recovery Balm even cleaner, more stable, and longer-lasting. Our old formula had a tendency to separate or become runny over time, which we saw was frustrating for customers who stocked up on their favorites.
So, we made some upgrades to our formula while keeping the same core benefits you love. Now, your balm stays fresh, smooth, and effective—without any unwanted texture changes
If you’re a longtime customer, you’ll notice a smoother, more luxurious texture—one that absorbs beautifully without feeling greasy and stays consistent from the first roll to the last.
What’s gone? That runny, sometimes leaky texture that could happen with the previous formula. Now, your balm will stay perfectly blended and stable from start to finish.

We made a few thoughtful upgrades to improve stability, texture, and overall skin feel, all while keeping our formulas clean, plant-powered, and effective. Here’s what’s new:
✅ More skin-friendly hydration – We added Argan Oil, Jojoba Oil, and Coco Caprylate/Caprate, which absorb beautifully and nourish the skin.
✅ More stable formula – No more thinning, separating, or leaks! Our new plant-based emulsifiers (Sorbitan Olivate, Sorbitan Sesquioleate) help the balm glide on smoothly and stay consistent over time.
✅ Still powered by magnesium! – The same recovery-focused ingredients like Magnesium, MSM, and Aloe Vera are still working their magic—just in a formula that’s even better.
✅ Fewer additives, more nature – We removed Propylene Glycol and replaced it with gentler, plant-based alternatives.
What hasn’t changed? The results. The balm still delivers the same muscle recovery, soothing relief, and clean wellness experience—it’s just even better.

Bring back old formula

The new formula is awful. It has an unpleasant odor and feels greasy. I may have to use it if I can't find an alternative that works on my restless legs, but wish you would bring back the wonderful old formula.

We’re really sorry to hear that Essential Calm didn’t meet your expectations. While the formula remains unscented (no added fragrance or essential oils), it does contain plant-based ingredients like magnesium, aloe, and botanical extracts—which can sometimes carry a naturally subtle scent.

We know everyone’s senses are unique, and even small shifts in formula can feel different, especially for longtime customers.

Essential Calm is amazing! For over 2 and a half years, I have been dealing with excruciating neck pain that was making it difficult to sleep. Just laying down caused a massive headache. I could barely turn my head. I was constantly uncomfortable. I've been through many months of physical therapy, Xrays, MRI's, CT scans, multiple injections, medications, weekly chiropractic, bi-monthly massages, weekly acupuncture...but the neck pain wasn't getting better and my migraine headaches were increasing in frequency, duration and intensity with no relief. I've seen orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, neurosurgeons, been to pain management... The headaches and neck pain just kept getting worse. I was having more days with a migraine than without and dreaded going to bed. I discovered this product while scrolling on Facebook and was immediately skeptical, but I was willing to try something different. What did I have to lose?? I honestly didn't think it was going to make a difference. But, it did the first time I used it!!! I haven't had a migraine in 25 days, I can turn my head and laying down no longer causes a headache!!!
